Bryant Elementary Library

Welcome to the Bryant Elementary Library!

As media specialist, I am here to assist your child in any way I can.  If there is a particular book you are looking for, I will be glad to assist.  We have an online Library Catalog which the students can search independently. We may not have a book for every subject requested, but whenever possible, I will be glad to order necessary items when funds become available.

 The library is the hub for the Accelerated Reader program.  Teachers report the progress of the students to me and I make sure the students are rewarded accordingly.  Twice a year, students earn the right to shop at our A.R. store and attend a pizza party.

Fund raisers for the library include 3 bookfairs per year and money raised from the harvest festival which includes an auction basket.  The money is put directly back into the library for purchase of books and anything needed for the general enhancement of the library program.

 There are 6 computer stations available for student research.  Each computer has high-speed internet access and access to all programs such as Accelerated Reader and STAR reading.  Each computer is linked to a high-speed laser printer. 

 Our library is also equipped with distance learning equipment which allows remote connectivity to classrooms all across the United States.  Our library has just added a Document Reader, a scanner, and a Smartboard.  Thanks for your support of our library!  You are invited to drop by and visit us any time!  Just remember to check in at the office.
