3rd Grade Students Make Homemade Games for Community Read
In partnership with the Impact Learning Center, Jackson County students are partcipating in a Community Read. This year's theme "One Book---One Community---Reading Together in Jackson County" is using David Baldacci's
Wish You Well. This applachian-based story is encouraging students at all grade levels to explore their heritage and revisit traditions of the past. Projects by county students will be on exhibit beginning at 4:30 p.m. (cst) at the Goosepond Civic Center on September 19, 2007. David Baldacci will be on hand for a book signing at 6:30 p.m. (cst).
